What is tramao?

tramao stands for trade machines online and is the new marketplace for used machines, service, spare parts and tools. As a machine user, you can contact the relevant used machine dealer quickly and without registration. However, tramao goes beyond the classic brokerage of used machines and offers machine users the opportunity to quickly and easily find appropriate support from service companies for machine problems of all kinds. Service companies can set up a free company profile on our marketplace and offer their services.
The input options for company profiles will be further developed by us and further useful features will be added in the future.At tramao, we attach particular importance to a simple, clearly structured and clear design. For a precise search, our marketplace is divided into three databases. In used machines, service, tools and spare parts. For this reason, the input field for the search is also divided into three parts.
So far there are around 200 dealers on our online marketplace and the offer includes around 36,000 new and used offers from the fields of metalworking machines, printing machines, construction machinery, woodworking machines, means of transport, tools and spare parts.

What is the cost of a company, service profile and machine, spare part and tool advertisement at tramao?

Our platform is currently free of charge. Until June 30th, 2022, new customers have the opportunity to advertise their machines, tools and spare parts for at least six months free of charge. We are currently in the initial phase of our platform. We would like to work with you to create a simple and future-oriented online marketplace for everything to do with used machines, service, spare parts and tools.
A fair and cooperative partnership is very important to us, which is why we will of course not send you an invoice immediately after the free phase has expired. We will inform you in good time and you will have enough time to consider whether you want to stay with us.
You are also welcome to contact us about long-term contracts with fixed conditions for 3 years. A flexible arrangement with us is possible.

If you would like to offer your services in the areas of repair, maintenance, servicing, retrofitting, spare parts procurement, occupational safety, etc., you can set up a permanently free company and service profile on tramao.

Can I advertise on tramao?

You are welcome to contact us about this. We provide you with advertising banners between the advertisements, individually tailored to your needs. Advertising banners also remain free until March 31, 2021!

Does tramao offer import interfaces?

Yes, we provide you with a free XLS / CSV import. After registration you will find .csv and .xls sample files for importing your used machines in the dashboard under Support. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.
We also offer you to set up an individual interface, for example via your website. This service is also currently free of charge.

Can I sell my used machine to tramao?

No, we are a pure brokerage platform for used machines and do not buy anything ourselves.

What is the reach of the advertisements?

All machine offers are published on 16 country pages so far. At the same time, we publish machine offers on social media channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter etc.

How do I increase my sales opportunities as a retailer?

The more information and details you enter in the product description of your used machine, the higher the probability of being found and of receiving more inquiries. For example, with the machine name (title), you should provide precise information about the machine type and model name.
A detailed dealer profile is also an advantage for increasing inquiries.

How do I search for machines, service companies, spare parts?

Our input mask is divided into used machines, service, spare parts and tools. Enter your search term in the corresponding field and click on the magnifying glass.
You only find what you really want to find. The results are clearly displayed.

How do I contact the seller?

As soon as you get the desired search result, you will see five icons next to the item description. When you click on the third icon (speech bubble), a contact form appears.

What do I do if the seller doesn't answer?

There are many reasons a trader might not respond. If a used machine dealer does not contact us using the contact form, you still have the option of viewing the dealer contact data via the company profile.

What do the other icons next to the article description in the machine advertisement mean?

With the "Printer" icon you can display the offer in the print view. With the icon "envelope" you can send the offer to be recommended. You can report a violation (including copyright infringement) with the "Exclamation mark" icon.

Why the display of service companies in the machine advertisement?

This is one of your advantages with tramao. If you are interested in a machine, you should also be given information about whether there is a service company in your area who is familiar with the type of machine you want.
You do not then need to go via the search mask, you can see directly from whom, if applicable.
Help and support is expected. The search radius is limited to approx. 250km here.

A used machine you are looking for cannot be found on tramao. What can I do?

If the used machine you want is not listed on our online marketplace, so you can send your request to the appropriate dealer using the "Machine request" button. You can find the button at the top of the start page. You can then select the category that matches your search query. The dealers from the selected category receive your request. Enter your contact details and click on "Submit".

How is my data protected?

Your personal data will be treated with absolute confidentiality and will not be passed on to third parties.

You have discovered a violation of our marketplace rules. What can you do?

Please contact us immediately, by email or by phone, if you discover any irregularities. We examine the facts and take further measures in the event of violations.

Can you influence the improvement of our online marketplace for used machines?

We are always open to suggestions for improvement and constructive criticism. You are very welcome to contact us if you have a suggestion for improvement. It is important to us to create a meaningful, sustainable, innovative and fair online platform for used machines with all users of tramao.
