The FOLLOWER is an outstanding development which makes the folding of large sheets on the press brake easier - more convenient - safer (one or two people can be operated). The FOLLOWER is mobile and can easily be positioned in front of every CNC press brake, setting up and programming the device for the respective bending task is quick and easy. The size of the support table is 500 mm x 1,000 mm (or 1,500 mm) - suitable for a bending angle of up to 85 °, bending sequence accuracy + / - 0.5 °, maximum load capacity 150 kg.

Data such as the sheet thickness, the bending angle, the V width and the V angle are entered into the DNC control of the FOLLOWER. The clamping point between the upper and lower tool and the sheet is determined and programmed. With this data and the measurement signals of the linear scale, the support table can follow the sheet according to the bending speed with an accuracy of + / - 0.5 °. This not only makes working safer, more convenient and more efficient, because the sheet metal is supported on the support table. The ball rollers and brush heads in the support table prevent damage to the sheet surface, but also allow the sheet to be moved without great effort. The portable control panel enables the FOLLOWERS to be operated and is included in the scope of delivery; the rotary knob potentiometer at the bottom left enables you to fine-tune it based on the programmed following speed.
