The positioner SDT-3 is an essential component for easy mechanization tasks in the arc welding technique. The Geraet can be used both for MIG / MAG-welding, WIG-welding as well as for the electrode handswelding. The area of application extends to all areas of arc welding in which round pins are welded, or for the simple positioning of plant corners in advantageous welding positions. The main features are: The plane disk can be rotated by 90 ° from the horizontal to the vertical position. With a speed range of 0.2 to 3 rpm, the positioner can be used for multiple welding tasks. By means of the selection of the angle of rotation, it is also possible to weld partial umbots without difficulty. The positioner SDT-3 can be clocked by the foot pedal supplied with it or by an external control, and is thus also suitable for simple mechanization tasks with superordinate control.
